HSA/RSA/Gardaí - October Driving for Work Seminars

The Road Safety Authority (RSA), Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and An Garda Síochána are running a series of FREE seminars across Ireland designed to help employers put in place safe Driving for Work Risk Management practices.

Seminar dates and locations are as follows:

• Wednesday 9th October - The Connacht Hotel, Dublin Road, Galway City
• Wednesday 23rd October - The Killeshin Hotel, Dublin Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois
• Thursday 24th October - Green Isle Hotel, Newlands Cross, Dublin 22

Presentations by the RSA, HSA and An Garda Síochána will help business owners, managers and supervisors understand how effective management of risks associated with driving cars, vans and trucks for work can keep their employees safe, protect their business and benefit their bottom line.

In addition to these presentations, representatives from four DriverFocus clients - ABB, Bord Gáis, Coillte and Thorntons Recycling - will each present a case study on how they have successfully implemented driving for work practices in their businesses and achieved cost savings.  Case studies will be available after the seminars on www.driverfocus.ie.

There will be a Q&A session during the seminars which and you are encouraged to participate in, as well as opportunities to engage with the speakers during a networking coffee break.
